I didn't start in consulting. I started with a dream and a deep belief that wellness could change people's lives.

Before the word "wellness" was a hashtag, before massage was mainstream, before spa businesses had blueprints to follow — I was building one.

I opened one of Canada's largest day spas at a time when most people didn't know what reflexology was, let alone whether they'd pay for it. We started with a team of 24. Within two years we had grown to 65. We built the service menu from scratch, introduced wellness to clients who had never experienced it, and figured out the finances, the logistics, and the leadership as we went.

Nobody handed me a roadmap. There were moments of real self doubt — nights where I genuinely didn't know if it would work. But I kept going because I believed in what we were building. And it worked.

Over 25 years I built and operated day spas across Canada and California. I learned what makes a wellness business thrive — and what quietly breaks one. I learned it not from a textbook but from the inside — from payroll decisions, team conflicts, service menus, client retention, and the daily reality of leading people in a demanding industry.
